Senior Oracle Developer

This is a key role within the Department of Justice and Community Safety.

The Senior Apex Developer will be responsible for delivering new application components and work packages for existing or new APEX/oracle applications. This will involve collaborating with a team of business and IT specialists to:

  • Design, Develop, and Deliver
    • Oracle Apex related software (web app, mobile) to meet the needs of business units.
    • Ensure that the specification and design of Oracle Apex related software changes meet the defined business needs, align with enterprise and solution architectures and complies with standards.
    • Integrate software solutions with existing solutions such as OCI, AWS, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Resolve, .NET, and webMethods.
  • Produce Complex Documentation
    • In accordance with the quality review standards, including technical specifications, solution design, release and deployment instructions, procedures, user & support manuals and work packages.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate expert knowledge and experience in the use of a range of Oracle development tools and the Oracle database (PL/SQL) environment, including recognised and emerging technologies.

This role requires strong technical skills and experience working with Agile methodologies, source code controls and Continuous Integration (CI) tools.
