Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team, providing care and support to individuals in the community with various needs, including physical and mental disabilities, learning disabilities, and elderly care.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with accessing community resources and services, as well as providing emotional and social support, engaging in conversation and social activities. Additional responsibilities include assisting with mobility and transferring, using mobility aids if necessary, supporting meal planning and preparation, and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

This role requires a range of skills and qualifications, including Working With Children Check, National Police Certificate, First Aid and CPR Certification, Car and Driver Licence, and Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate. Australia work authorisation is preferred.
