About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technologist with a strong background in gas chromatography to take on a leadership position within our team. As a Senior Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, initiating, delivering, and reporting on projects that focus on organic compound identification and quantitation in solid, liquid, and gaseous samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver complex projects related to gas chromatography and mass spectrometry
  • Provide expert training and support to clients on the use of chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry clients and internal stakeholders
  • Mentor and train junior team members to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in a relevant technology area, such as chemistry or physics
  • At least four years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in gas chromatography
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $116,370 to $127,294 per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
