AV Installation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing and configuring audio visual and IT hardware on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Testing: Install, configure, and thoroughly test audio visual and IT hardware to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
  • Rack Building Experience: Strong preference for candidates with rack building experience.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other trades and stakeholders to ensure smooth installation activities.
  • Project Management: Monitor site progress and ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance on installation techniques, safety practices, and troubleshooting methods to junior technicians.
  • Cable Infrastructure: Manage cable infrastructure installation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Customer Service: Maintain high-level customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Evaluate the quality and accuracy of installations, documentation, and reports.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee thorough testing of installed solutions to ensure they meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an AV Installation Technician with industry or trade qualifications.
  • Passion for Technology: Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills – written, oral, and interpersonal.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Validations: Valid green/white card and driver's license.
