Overview

Join to apply for the Audio Visual Designer role at Citadel Technology.

Reporting to the Head of Design, this role is responsible for gathering requirements (through customer engagement and site inspections), producing solution proposals and high-level budget estimates (based on existing system patterns) and the preparation of post-sale design documentation to enable effective installation and commissioning of the systems. Typically, post-sale design documentation includes scope of works, bills of material, schematics, plans & elevations, test plans and configurations documentation. This role has a large client focused function as you are required to communicate and coordinate with customers and clients regarding the product and ensuring your design fits with their specifications. You will also need to work very closely with other team members in the technology team including warehousing, procurement, administration, sales and project delivery staff.

What about the role
  • Gathering customer requirements and producing solution proposals in line with client standards
  • Preparation of post-sale design documentation (standards based) to enable effective installation & commissioning of AV spaces, including, but not limited to:
    • Scope of Works
    • bills of material
    • test plans
  • Communication and coordination with representatives from our clients' AV design departments (and end users).
  • Conducting site inspections and gathering customer requirements
  • Internal coordination with teams including warehousing, procurement, administration, sales and installation.
