Job Title: Property Maintenance Team Leader

This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall maintenance of a property and coordination of internal teams and external contractors.

The ideal candidate will ensure the property remains safe, functional and well-presented while adhering to industry standards and minimizing disruptions to guests and staff.

  • Regularly inspect buildings, rooms and facilities to maintain their condition
  • Perform maintenance tasks and repairs as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
  • Ensure all furniture, appliances and electrical equipment are in working order
  • Maintain outdoor areas including car parks, pathways and staircases
  • Oversee the upkeep of the swimming pool including water testing and fence inspections
  • Record and update maintenance tasks daily using relevant software
  • Maintain registers for general and preventative maintenance programs
  • Coordinate testing and tagging of electrical equipment
  • Schedule fire drills, warden training and fire equipment inspections
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar hands-on maintenance leadership role
  • Trade background highly regarded
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
