About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Ranger. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service while effectively implementing regulatory functions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement compliance and enforcement matters in a Local Government context, specifically under the Road Rules Act 2014 and Companion Animals Act 1998.
  • Provide high-quality animal care and control services, handling difficult customers with professionalism and poise.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
Essential Requirements
  • A valid Class C NSW Driver's Licence is required.
  • The ideal candidate will hold an HSC or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of legislation, policies, and guidelines related to animal control and enforcement is essential.
  • The ability to read, understand, apply, and enforce legislation, policies, and guidelines is crucial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, consultation, negotiation, and customer service skills, are necessary.
  • Proven experience in animal handling and welfare is highly desirable.

This role requires a criminal history check and a pre-employment health assessment.
