
Advanced Medical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Equipment Technician to support our clinical teams through the maintenance and management of life-saving medical equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering, electronics, or electrical fields, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospital or health sector environment.
They will be responsible for conducting electrical safety and performance testing of medical equipment, performing planned and corrective maintenance, calibration, and commissioning of medical devices, as well as decommissioning and disposal.
The ideal candidate will also possess strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in computer systems and database tools.
They will work closely with clinical users and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and provide technical support as required.
Maintaining accurate records using asset management systems is also an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
