Receptionist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to fill the position of Receptionist.

This role involves being the first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff, ensuring a warm atmosphere within the Centre.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Greeting visitors and families with a friendly attitude
  • Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries professionally
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, enrolment, and accounts
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Coordinating communication between staff, families, and management
  • Helping with basic administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
  • Ensuring the reception area and office space are clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures of the Centre

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QikKids. A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care is required. Additional requirements include patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children and families. Valid WWCC also mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QikKids

A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is also necessary.
