Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Childcare Cook located on-site at our Mill Park, VIC location. The Childcare Cook will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals for children, adhering to dietary requirements and health guidelines. Daily tasks include cooking and preparing, ensuring kitchen cleanliness, and maintaining inventory levels. The Childcare Cook will also collaborate with educators to support children\'s healthy eating habits.

Qualifications

  • Experience in meal planning, cooking, and kitchen safety
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for young children
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Food handling certification or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in childcare or a similar setting is a plus
  • Employee Working with children check required
