Located in Melbourne, our esteemed client is a leading luxury fashion brand renowned for its exceptional products and commitment to excellence.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to partner with our senior leadership team on people and culture initiatives. As Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent, while driving business results through innovative HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals.
  • Lead performance management processes, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to facilitate ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
  • Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that learning and development opportunities are accessible and inclusive for all employees.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR policies and procedures that support a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, with a focus on promoting a positive and supportive work environment conducive to learning and growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR and learning and development, implementing innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience and drive organisational success.
  • Provide broad HR generalist advice and guidance to support business objectives.
  • Develop and implement talent management and succession planning initiatives to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR leader in a high-end retail or luxury goods company.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience with HR systems and tools, including recruitment software and performance management platforms.

  • An attractive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
