**Director of Orthopaedic Surgery Opportunity**

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Director of Orthopaedic Surgery to lead our expanding Orthopaedic Unit. This pivotal leadership role will oversee clinical governance, strategic service development, quality improvement initiatives, and training for junior doctors and trainees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective clinical strategies to enhance patient outcomes and deliver exceptional service excellence.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and mentorship to junior doctors and trainees.
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive service growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality clinical services.
Requirements:
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics)
  • Current AHPRA specialist registration
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership and commitment to service excellence
  • Strong track record in teaching, supervision, and mentoring
  • Passion for quality improvement and patient-centred care
