- Deliver outstanding patient care to patients and their families
- Provide clinical and professional leadership to the team
- Build and nurture a strong capable workforce within the unit
- Promote and support ongoing learning and education for all staff within the unit
- Recruit, retain, and develop staff; manage finances and occupational health and safety
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in perioperative procedures and the patient journey
- Experience as a clinical leader, supporting and engaging staff, providing exceptional high-quality care to patients
- Ability to promote and support ongoing learning and education for your team
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in changing environments
- Strong communication and customer liaison skills
- Able to demonstrate financial management and understanding of budgets
- Related Post Graduate qualifications (clinical or leadership) desirable
