Join our team as a Clinical Nurse Leader and shape the future of aged care at our Rathdowne Place facility in Carlton. As a key member of our Residential Aged Care team, you will lead and support the coordination of all clinical and care needs for our residents.

Our home comprises 162 beds and offers a state-of-the-art facility within a light-filled interior, on-site café, private dining facilities, hair salon and spa, gym, and many other activities in the Carlton precinct.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model leadership behaviors to source, lead, develop, and retain high-quality team members aligned with our culture.
  • Support and lead clinical and care delivery across the RAC facility, ensuring service delivery meets high standards.
  • Collaborate with the site management team and central support services to deliver customer-centered and compliant aged care services.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure RAC residents receive services of the required standard to enhance their wellbeing and align with their preferences and needs.
  • Develop and implement actions within the Annual Operation Plan to achieve all targets.
  • Help manage annual budgets and strategies to deliver accommodation and services cost-effectively.
  • Collaborate with Retirement and Assisted Living Community Teams to support the delivery of the end-to-end customer value proposition.
About You
  • Be an accomplished Clinical Nurse Leader capable of developing and driving our clinical care strategy.
  • Demonstrate our values of Bold, Warm, and Honest.
  • Have a qualified Registered Nurse degree with current AHPRA registration.
  • Have experience and knowledge regarding AN-ACC funding and NQIP reporting.
  • Knowledge of ACQSC accreditation, procedures, and standards is also required.
  • Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Business or similar and/or a minimum of five (5) years of management experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Being an accomplished People Leader with proven experience in coaching and performance management is preferred.
