Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to enhance our Acquiring and ATM Services division
Cuscal boasts a remarkable 21% market share in Australia’s ATM transaction processing, reflecting our extensive expertise and reliability in the industry. Our proficiency in ATM management and technology equips our clients to excel in the dynamic payments sector.
As a Senior Business Analyst in our ATM Services team, your responsibilities will include:
- Adhering to and promoting organizational standards for Business Analysis.
- Selecting the most suitable business analysis methodologies.
- Assessing project complexity, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies, providing insightful feedback to the Project Manager/Product Owner.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to drive favorable outcomes.
- Establishing and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
- Creating a comprehensive business analysis work-plan to manage your activities, tasks, deliverables, and timelines.
- Identifying and communicating potential risks and issues.
- Measuring and monitoring the quality of business analysis deliverables through artifact reviews.
- Adapting to evolving organizational priorities.
- Working alongside the Product Owner to ensure that at least 80% of each sprint goal is achieved, utilizing SMART principles.
Qualifications
As a Senior Business Analyst, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the IT sector, specifically in Financial Services.
- Ability to operate with a high level of independence.
- Capacity to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Skill in interpreting complex information and analyzing data to produce valuable insights for stakeholders.
- Expertise in Agile User Story development and backlog refinement.
- Adept at evaluating project complexity, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
- Strong communication abilities, capable of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and conducting elicitation activities.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experience would be advantageous:
- Familiarity with Cards & Payments, particularly in Acquiring or Issuing.
- Knowledge of Schemes Compliance (Schemes Release), Visa & MasterCard, ISO8583, eftpos, AS2805, and Switching technologies such as 'Postilion' by ACI.
