About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Tech Business Analyst to join our Consumer Division at Westpac Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our compliance program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of talented Business Analysts, guiding them to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Work with the Engineering and Enterprise Testing teams to validate requirements and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Identify and define detailed system requirements and use cases, and support the execution of product tests.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate other Business Analysts to uplift their capability and showcase best practice.
  • People management of Business Analysts, including internal and partner resources.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst with skills in data analysis, system functional and non-functional analysis.
  • Financial Services or Professional Services background.
  • Risk & Regulatory experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Extensive experience in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
  • A strong understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Ability to work in an office a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
