Job Title: Corporate Governance Paralegal

We are seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to provide support to our corporate advisory team. As a corporate governance paralegal, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Registration of companies with ASIC;
  • Maintenance of corporate registers for local and foreign-registered companies;
  • Compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) requirements;
  • Drafting documents for company changes, including registration of business names;
  • Transactional matters, including preparation of pre and post-closing documentation;
  • Registering business names and ASIC Industry Funding and ASIC Regulatory Portal lodgements;
  • Overseeing ASIC filings and search requests for related practice groups;
  • Conducting legal audits of corporate registers;
  • Reconstructing register of members and records.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a professional services environment;
  • Previous experience in a corporate paralegal or secretariat role;
  • Knowledge of the ASIC Regulatory portal or lodgement processes;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills;
  • A commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail;
  • An ability to manage competing priorities and work flexibility;
  • An ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity;
  • An ability to develop strong relationships;
  • An ability to work well in a team environment.
