Corporate Governance Paralegal

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team in a fast-paced corporate governance environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level support to our Managing Partner, ensuring seamless execution of client delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and lodgement of ASIC documents (director changes, share issues, company amendments).
  • Maintenance of company registers and corporate governance records.
  • Assistance with board and committee minute preparation.
  • Support of due diligence processes for capital raisings, IPOs, and corporate transactions.
  • Drafting and reviewing corporate legal documents under supervision.
  • Conducting research and maintaining precedent databases.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years' experience as a paralegal in an Australian law firm, corporate secretariat, or listed-company environment. They should demonstrate knowledge of ASIC lodgement processes and corporate governance requirements. Additionally, they must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
