About this role

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic corporate advisory team, providing expert guidance on corporate governance and regulatory matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as providing high-level administrative support to the team.

Job description:

  • Corporate Governance: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date corporate registers, including registrations of public, proprietary and foreign companies, and drafting documents to effect changes to companies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that companies comply with requirements under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), including ASIC Industry Funding and ASIC Regulatory Portal lodgements.
  • Transaction Support: Provide transactional support, including preparation of pre and post-closing documentation in relation to acquisition and disposal of companies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a professional services environment, preferably in a corporate paralegal or secretariat role.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the ASIC Regulatory portal or lodgement processes.
  • Skillset: Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills, with a commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to develop strong relationships and work well in a team environment.
