Transport Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Transport Services Director to oversee the operations of our vehicle fleet, ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods and passengers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct the procurement, maintenance, and fueling of transport vehicles and equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their transport needs, provide expert advice on vehicle selection, contractual obligations, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Plan and implement transportation schedules to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
  • Conduct regular fleet inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Manage accurate business records and prepare operational reports and statements.
  • Guarantee compliance with occupational health and safety regulations across all transport activities.

About You:

  • Prior experience in a similar leadership role within the automotive or rental industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Proven expertise in transport services management or fleet operations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance standards relevant to fleet operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
