Transport Compliance Manager - Bulk Haulage Fleet Management, Subcontractor Management, Compliance Join our rapidly growing company operating in the Civil, Mining, and Agricultural sectors of Western Australia for the past 5 years.
Batth Transport provides services to these sectors to our valued clients.
Due to recent growth and new contracts, we are seeking a multi-skilled and experienced Transport Compliance Manager to lead day-to-day operations overseeing our fleet and subcontractors' KPIs and compliance.
The Role : You will be responsible for compliance and subcontractor management on key projects, ensuring efficiency and performance of the fleet and operators.
This leadership role reports directly to the Managing Director and includes oversight of Compliance, Maintenance Coordination, Scheduling, and Subcontractor Management.
Key Responsibilities : Oversee daily subcontractor management, including scheduling and compliance.
Coordinate with mechanics at our Midwest Depot for vehicle servicing, compliance, maintenance, and subcontractor audits.
Manage compliance, motivate, and lead a team of company drivers and subcontractors.
Provide reports on fleet compliance, daily tonnage reconciliation, and KPIs to the Managing Director in coordination with the administration team.
Opportunities to transition into a business development role are welcome but not essential.
Foster a strong safety-first culture across all operations.
Qualifications : Experience in compliance supervision within transport or operations management in the bulk haulage industry of WA.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Solid knowledge of trucking equipment related to side-tippers and associated safety hardware and compliance systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport management platforms, with the ability to innovate.
This role can be performed from Geraldton or Perth, depending on the candidate's preference, with minimal on-ground presence required monthly.
Flexible working arrangements, including work from home, can be negotiated.
