**Job Title:** Aboriginal Primary Health Officer

**About the Role**: We are seeking a highly skilled Aboriginal Primary Health Officer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Delivering culturally appropriate primary healthcare services
  • Promoting health education and community engagement initiatives
  • Fostering strong partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, values, and traditions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a strong commitment to delivering culturally safe and respectful healthcare services, are essential.

Eligibility for ASO3 classification requires holding a Cert III in Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Certificate (Practice or Community Care). Eligibility for ASO4 classification requires holding a Cert IV in Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Certificate III (Practice or Community Care).
