Senior Civil Designer Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated Senior/Principal Civil Designer to contribute to our business growth. Our client is a market leading civil contractor, offering services across various industry sectors including building construction, renewables, industrial, mining, and resources.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil design with approximately 10 years' experience, exposure to mining, renewables, or major infrastructure projects being advantageous. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality results, working closely with senior leadership, project managers, project engineers, design consultants, and on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading civil design packages for various projects
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external consultants
  • Reviewing and resolving technical challenges across design stages
  • Maintaining compliance with Australian standards and safety requirements
  • Contributing to tender and pre-construction activities

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 7+ years' experience in civil design across infrastructure, mining, renewables, or other sectors
  • Proficiency in industry design tools
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and design best practices
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites when required

Competitive Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 AUD
