Job Overview

The Salvation Army Australia is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join their national Aged Care Scheduling Team.

About the Role

This full-time position is responsible for ensuring each centre is fully staffed, coordinating rosters, managing payroll and providing excellent customer service across 19 sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rostering: Ensure centres are fully staffed; coordinate and maintain rosters to meet care minute targets; manage replacement of vacant shifts; reconcile agency staff attendance records; coordinate agency bookings; verify UKG system entries.
  • Payroll: Clear daily timekeeping functions; review staff punches for accurate attendance; manage overtime entries; review casual loading entitlements; process fortnightly payroll reconciliations; ensure deadlines are met.
  • Customer Service: Provide timely, professional support; build relationships with internal stakeholders; action ServiceNow tickets; respond to inquiries with empathy and accuracy; maintain high service levels and balance priorities.
Requirements
  • Experience in scheduling or administration; knowledge of aged care industry operational needs.
  • Strong secretarial, administrative and organisational skills; ability to learn Commonwealth Accreditation requirements; excellent time management and prioritisation.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Business Administration.
  • UKG Pro scheduling system knowledge.
