Job Description

The role of the Senior Finance Manager is to provide strategic guidance and oversight to the University's commercial activities, ensuring alignment with its strategic goals.

This involves identifying, developing, and supporting the delivery of potential business opportunities, as well as structuring and negotiating complex commercial engagements.

In addition, the position plays a key role in the placement and annual management of the University's insurance program, providing expert advice on risk mitigation and management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to support the University's commercial portfolio and strategic goals.
  • Identify and develop potential business opportunities, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements, ensuring fair and equitable terms for the University.
  • Manage the University's insurance program, including placing and renewing policies, and providing expert advice on risk management and mitigation strategies.
