About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our national team of Speech Pathologists in our NDIS division. This is an excellent opportunity to work with clients aged 0-65, providing clinical services across early intervention, school age, adolescent, and adult services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop communication plans for clients with various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types.
  • Provide therapy sessions, including communication assessments, swallowing and paediatric feeding (dysphagia) assessments, mealtime management plan development, and augmentative and alternative communication assessments.
  • Work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and ORS offices.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Registration or ability to become registered with SPA.
  • A car and valid driver's license.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one before commencement.
