About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our national team of clinicians providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 in our NDIS division.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types. They will provide communication assessments, swallowing and paediatric feeding assessments, mealtime management plan development and reviews, augmentative and alternative communication assessments, and ongoing therapy.

The role requires working across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices. The successful candidate will have access to administration and IT support, high quality and validated Speech Pathology assessment tools, online resource subscriptions, internal and external professional development opportunities, and the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to participants aged 0-65 in our NDIS division
  • Work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services
  • Conduct communication assessments, swallowing and paediatric feeding assessments, mealtime management plan development and reviews, augmentative and alternative communication assessments, and ongoing therapy
  • Work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with SPA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
Salary and Benefits
