Cybersecurity Data Risk Manager Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Data Risk Manager to drive the data loss prevention strategy and governance across Macquarie group. This role will involve working closely with business units to understand their data loss risks and control adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Challenging, identifying, and overseeing data controls
  • Developing metrics and supporting risk and compliance
  • Maintaining progress, driving insights through analysis, and reviewing outcomes to ensure consistent practices are embedded

About You:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity risk-related roles
  • Strong understanding of data loss risk across various exfiltration vectors including web, email, endpoint, and cloud technologies
  • Ability to articulate problems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Effective stakeholder management skills within challenging business environments at all seniority levels
  • Good understanding of security incident management in relation to data loss events
  • Interpret complex raw data and ability to analyze and articulate key takeaways
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a collaborative team environment

Estimated Salary: AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
