Sensational Healing Allied Health is a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centred intervention to children, young people, adults, and their families. Our team consists of occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, counsellors, speech pathologists, and allied health assistants, working together to achieve positive outcomes.
About the RoleWe are seeking an emerging occupational therapist with 1+ years of experience to join our team, working across paediatrics, child mental health, disability, or a combination of all three. The role is based at our Ripley Valley clinic, with opportunities to work in community-based settings across the Ipswich, Springfield, Lockyer Valley, and Scenic Rim regions.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with other allied health disciplines to provide comprehensive therapy services
- Develop and implement client-centred intervention plans to achieve positive outcomes
- Provide support and supervision to allied health assistants
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Bachelor in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current registration with AHPRA
- 1 year of experience in occupational therapy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence and discipline in working independently, especially in community-based settings
- Generous above award salary, $85k - $100k + super
