Sensational Healing Allied Health is a multidisciplinary healthcare organization seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our organization provides client-centered intervention services to children, young people, adults, and their families, with a focus on strengthening relationships within families and empowering individuals to achieve their goals.
About the RoleWe are seeking an emerging therapist with 1+ years of experience to join our team, working across paediatrics, child mental health, disability, or a combination of all three. The role is based at our clinic but will also include offering community-based services to meet client needs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other allied health disciplines, including social workers, psychologists, counsellors, speech pathologists, and allied health assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to children, young people, and adults with neurodiversity or developmental trauma
- Work collaboratively with other allied health disciplines to achieve positive outcomes for clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet client goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy
- Bachelor in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current registration with AHPRA
- 1 year of experience in occupational therapy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence and discipline in working independently, especially in community-based settings
- Willingness to supervise Allied Health Assistants
- Generous above award salary, $85k - $100k + super
