About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aboriginal Community Support Officer to join our team. The role provides project support and effective customer service to Aboriginal communities and clients attending court.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for a range of projects targeted at Aboriginal communities and clients.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and maintain filing systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Deliver culturally appropriate front-line customer service and project delivery.
  • Collate, interpret, manage, and disseminate information to support project development and implementation.
  • Undertake research to enhance project delivery and outcomes.
  • Promote projects and services to Aboriginal communities and clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Aboriginality, with a focus on policy, programs, and services impacting Aboriginal people or involving direct liaison with Aboriginal communities.
  • A current driver's licence (unrestricted) and willingness to travel is required for regional locations.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and respectful approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse interactions.
  • High attention to detail for accurate data entry and management.
  • A team player who is organised, adaptable, and committed to making a positive difference.
