Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Reservations Team, ensuring that they adhere to standards and procedures to provide exceptional service to all guests.

  • Lead and train the Reservations Team Members to maintain high levels of service quality.
  • Establish and communicate monthly objectives to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Handle incoming reservations enquiries via telephone and email in a timely manner, focusing on up-selling and maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Enter bookings into the system to optimise back-to-back bookings and continuously monitor room allotments and availability.
  • Understand Property Management Systems (PMS) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
  • Coordinate group bookings at the hotel, aiming to meet client requests and special needs where possible.
  • Maintain records of special accounts and travel agency statistics to provide accurate data for Sales.
  • Resolve systems issues and customer complaints promptly.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Hotel Reservations is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
