Event Coordinator Opportunity

  • Manage daily administration and sales activities, ensuring efficient communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate conferences, dinners, weddings, accommodation, and private dining restaurant bookings, providing excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Handle calls, book appointments, and assist in lead generation and enquiry follow-up, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work closely with back-of-house teams to ensure events are coordinated professionally and efficiently, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections for clients and third-party suppliers as required, maintaining the iVvy event management system with details of sales activity, client information, tentative, and confirmed bookings.
  • Prepare regular reports as directed by the Conference Sales Manager or General Manager, including ad-hoc reports where requested.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for the hotel and Event Hospitality and Entertainment, promoting the company values of Empowerment, Possibilities, and Community.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and participate in training and development programs, contributing to a collaborative work environment where teamwork is encouraged.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up and work closely with clients to secure future business for the hotel and EVT group, providing exceptional customer service and driving yield.
