Asset Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our team at Goughrecruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the administrative, financial, capital, and operational aspects of our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide up-to-date portfolio information to Group Management
  • Communicate with tenants regarding leases and rental commitments
  • Develop annual asset plans for each property, including capital upgrades and leasing strategies
  • Plan and manage property maintenance
  • Liaise with property and leasing lawyers
  • Assist with the planning, marketing, and leasing of retail, commercial, and industrial development projects
  • Manage leasing agents and review leases
  • Manage centre and property management teams and set KPIs
  • Coordinate permitted use approvals
  • Risk management
  • Coordinate property operating budgets
  • Implement and operate property management platforms and processes
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of the portfolio
  • Monthly review of operating statements
  • Assist in due diligence and assessment of potential acquisitions
  • Financial analysis, market studies, and industry-standard reporting
  • Strategic determination of highest and best use for each asset
  • Facilitate the sale of assets
  • Manage insurance incidents and claim management
