About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Macquarie Asset Management team in Sydney. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic advice and support to business leaders across the full employee life cycle, driving strategic outcomes and delivering exceptional employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to business leaders on people matters, including talent development, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations.
  • Collaborate with the global MAM HR team and Centres of Excellence to develop and implement people activities, business initiatives, and Group-wide programs.
  • Support the delivery of HR services, including year-end remuneration and promotion processes, and drive the execution of talent and diversity strategies within the business group.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group, including business leaders, employees, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Degree-level education in Human Resources or other relevant tertiary qualifications, combined with demonstrable HR practitioner experience, ideally within the Finance industry.
  • A strong understanding of business issues and a commercial mindset, with a proven record of delivery within a fast-paced, high-performing, global matrixed organisation.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, collaborate, influence, and provide coaching at all levels across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Data-led approach, with the ability to relate commercial and people insights to inform decision making, through well-developed analytical capability.
  • Demonstrated resilience and expertise in managing change and building organisational capability.
