Shape the Future of Sustainable Energy

Lead High-Impact Bid Development for Cutting-Edge Energy Projects

We are seeking a commercially astute professional to lead high-impact bid development across cutting-edge energy projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed, competitive proposals including scope, pricing, and terms
  • Review customer RFQs and technical documentation to shape tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams throughout the bid process
  • Coordinate site visits, supplier meetings, and subcontractor engagement
  • Support Sales Engineers during client interactions and presentations
  • Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor RFQs and proposal documentation
  • Act as the main point of contact for proposal-related client queries
  • Ensure seamless handovers to the Project Delivery team
  • Report progress and insights to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement across the proposals function
  • Uphold HSEQ standards across all proposal activities
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior professionals within the team
What We Need from You:Essential
  • 5+ years' experience in technical proposals or engineering sales
  • A strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
  • A proven track record in leading complex bids
  • The ability to interpret technical specifications and negotiate commercial terms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable
  • A degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in CHP, BESS, hydrogen, peaking plants, or data centre projects
  • Previous mentoring or leadership experience within engineering teams
