Electrical Design Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design of innovative energy systems.

This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for sustainable energy and cutting-edge technologies who is ready to make a meaningful impact on the energy transition.

  • Develop detailed, cost-effective electrical engineering designs that meet project specifications.
  • Guide junior engineers and CAD draughtsmen while promoting a strong knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Lead studies such as Load Flow, Fault Analysis, G5/5 Harmonics, Voltage Flicker (P28), and G99 compliance.

The successful candidate will work across the full project lifecycle from sales support through to commissioning.

Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or HNC/HND with equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience in electrical design within power generation or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong command of LV and MV system design control and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office and electrical analysis tools.

Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional registration is desirable.
