Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Claims Resolution Specialist. This position involves managing complex medical and loss of income insurance claims, supporting individuals through serious illness, injury, or psychological distress.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end claim management: Manage complex medical and loss of income claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and effective outcomes for customers.
  • Claim reserves and risk assessment: Set and maintain claim reserves in line with actuarial principles, policy terms, and regulatory expectations, minimizing potential financial exposure.
  • Conflict resolution and customer support: Utilize conflict resolution skills to de-escalate concerns, restore trust, and ensure a fair and transparent claims experience for vulnerable customers.

About You

  • Experience working with mental health-related claims and a strong understanding of loss of income calculations.
  • Proficiency in handling complaints and escalations, including demonstrated skill in de-escalation techniques.
  • Confidence in liaising with medical professionals, clients, employers, brokers, and other stakeholders to achieve successful claim resolutions.
  • Able to work effectively with customers experiencing financial hardship, language/cultural barriers, or mental health challenges.
