
Clinical Specialist

Work in a clinical trials unit where you will be involved in specimen collection, processing, aliquoting and storage. You will work in a team environment with access to cutting-edge medical practices and research opportunities. Your role will involve working on complex cases, engaging with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to innovative healthcare solutions.
About the Role- Clinical specimen collection, processing, aliquoting, data entry, storage and shipping for the Oncology Clinical Trials Service.
- Rostered role 2 days a week, ideally Tuesday – Wednesday or Wednesday – Thursday.
- Standard working hours, with very occasional weekend on call and afterhours processes requirements.
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration not required.
- No formal qualifications are required, however biomedical students are highly desired.
- Knowledge and skills in computer-based systems is essential.
- Training and certification is mandatory for shippers of biological substances for air transport (provided at employment).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements. Salary range: $34.53 to $36.30 p.h. 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available.
