Senior Clinical Specialist

Delivering high-quality clinical care across mixed adult and pediatric emergency departments is a key focus of this challenging and rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert consultation and advice to patients, families, and colleagues in emergency medicine settings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and audit processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and participate in aeromedical coordination and outreach activities.
As a Staff Specialist, you will work closely with experienced clinicians across various zones, including the short stay unit and retrieval coordination for North Queensland.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in both pediatric and adult emergency medicine and hold Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent.
Requirements:- Proven clinical experience in emergency medicine with a focus on pediatric and adult care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Ability to lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and audit processes.
