FIS Senior Business Analyst Position

At FIS Australia, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working predominantly in the cards space to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
  • Working with internal and external clients to assist with the implementation of some or all aspects of the P1C software platform.
  • Including analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Influencing business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection, and/or vendor selection.
  • Identifying and documenting business strategies, objectives, and drivers.
  • Analyzing and documenting business processes and metrics and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Re-engineering processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identifying/documenting how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
  • Assessing, applying, and projecting the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.
  • Using knowledge of systems and industry requirements to develop or modify complex information systems.
  • Tracking tasks to plan and escalating issues with late-running tasks and other schedule impacts in a timely manner to the PM.
  • Conducting a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests.
  • Verifying through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.
  • Training internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems, or new procedures.
  • Conducting one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience.
  • Mentoring, guiding, advising, and/or checking the work of less-experienced business systems analysts.
  • Considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and wellbeing.
