Support Worker Job Opportunity

Overview:

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support our clients in their daily lives. This role involves providing assistance with household tasks, personal care, and social support to enable our clients to maintain their independence.

Responsibilities:

  • General household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping
  • Providing companionship and social support
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as showering and dressing (if qualified)

Requirements:

  • A caring attitude and genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential)
