We are seeking a highly skilled CSI-IPT DDG Performance Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems Australia. As a key member of our Maritime CS and System Integration Line of Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that all engineering operations align with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Support Engineering Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and perspectives on performance challenges and opportunities.
- Conduct Comprehensive Analysis: Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement in engineering processes, systems, and workflows.
- Design and Implement Performance Testing Protocols: Evaluate the effectiveness of engineering systems and processes.
- Validate Performance Improvements: Work closely with engineering teams to monitor the impact of changes on overall system functionality.
- Define and Track Key Performance Indicators: Measure the success of performance improvement initiatives.
- Prepare Regular Reports and Presentations: Summarize performance trends, achievements, and areas requiring attention.
- Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Record engineering performance standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Education and Experience: Degree or postgraduate qualification in Business Management/Engineering/Project Management or other relevant discipline. Extensive technical project management experience in systems engineering.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, performance analysis and measurement, and process optimization.
- Leadership and Communication: Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing performance improvement initiatives. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Security Clearance: Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
