Emergency Care Educator

Develop your skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as an Education and Development Specialist. In this challenging role, you will lead education and development initiatives to build the confidence and clinical capability of nurses.
You will foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, encouraging curiosity, promoting reflective practice, and supporting staff in developing new skills to ensure excellence in emergency care.
- Design and deliver engaging education programs, applying learning principles to create practical, innovative, and evidence-based sessions tailored to the needs of both new and experienced staff.
- Collaborate with nurses, medical staff, and allied health professionals to enhance patient outcomes, while shaping the educator role to reflect your strengths, creativity, and professional interests.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), with relevant post-graduate qualifications in clinical practice or education, or equivalent experience in both areas.
- Recent advanced-level experience in cardiology and/or critical care nursing.
- Proven experience in delivering education, with a sound understanding of contemporary learning and assessment principles.
- Strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
