We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Emergency Department team. This is a temporary full-time role based at Gosford Hospital, with an opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and supporting education and development initiatives within the department, providing guidance, coaching, and structured learning opportunities that build the confidence and clinical capability of nurses in a fast-paced environment.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth by encouraging curiosity, promoting reflective practice, and supporting staff in developing new skills to ensure excellence in emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging education programs that apply learning principles to create practical, innovative, and evidence-based sessions tailored to the needs of both new and experienced staff.
  • Collaborate and innovate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes while shaping the educator role to reflect your own strengths, creativity, and professional interests.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), with relevant post-graduate qualifications in clinical practice or education, or equivalent experience in both areas.
  • Recent advanced-level experience in cardiology and/or critical care nursing.
  • Proven experience in delivering education, with a sound understanding of contemporary learning and assessment principles.
  • Strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
