Yard Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Yard Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our yard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the yard, managing inventory levels, coordinating logistics, and fostering a positive team culture.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily yard activities such as picking, loading, returns, service, maintenance, quality management, inspections, and stock counting.
  • Conducting daily toolbox meetings to ensure all targets are met and staff understand their tasks.
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound container shipments with the logistics department.
  • Executing accurate cost forecasts and investment plans based on business development and payback calculations.
  • Oversight of inventory quality, adherence to international quality standards, and accurate quality control.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Formal qualifications in leadership, business, operations, or construction.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role such as yard, inventory, or warehouse management.
  • Prior experience in leading a successful team.
  • Experience within the construction industry, ideally knowledge of formwork materials.
