Government Relations Professional

The Government Relations professional will play a key role in developing and implementing the university's government relations strategy. This includes building relationships with government stakeholders, managing visits and events, and providing leadership and advice on government policy and issues impacting the university's strategic and business operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leveraging your knowledge of government processes and your excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with government officials and stakeholders at the federal and state levels;
  • Managing visits and events from members of parliament, ministers, and senior department representatives;
  • Providing guidance and advice on government policy and issues impacting the university's operations;

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of working effectively in a team environment, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
