Asset Management Professional

This role provides high-quality advisory services to educational institutions, senior management and staff on a diverse range of facilities planning, investment and portfolio operations.

The Asset Manager will provide dedicated asset management for school maintenance formulation across the entire region and be integral to identifying asset failures and options for repair/renewal or removal.

The position will support medium-term asset planning for maintenance and budget allocations. The role will be valued by the number of school-based programs set, customer engagement and trainings as well as percentage of program delivery completed by third-party providers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing client-focused facilities services and advice to staff in schools, regional centers and other educational centers as well as the wider community.
  • Providing high-level advice, information and support services to clients across a broad range of facilities planning, investment and asset management issues.
  • Coordinating with other regional facilities teams, Infrastructure Services Division and external service providers in the provision of a broad range of facilities services.
  • Collaborating with staff across regional facilities teams, Infrastructure Services Division and other agencies to provide a comprehensive field-based facility support service to clients.
  • Preparing ministerial responses, reports and briefing materials.
