About This Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our palliative care services. As a Palliative Care Consultant, you will provide expert leadership and guidance to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert palliative care guidance and support to the Senior Leadership Team and Residential Homes.">
  • Oversee the development and compliance of palliative care policies and systems.">
  • Lead clinical education initiatives for staff and provide resources to residents and families.">
  • Perform clinical audits and support homes during Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission visits.">

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing, with postgraduate studies in Palliative Care.">
  • At least 5 years of experience in aged care, including operational roles in residential aged care facilities.">
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with a focus on building palliative care expertise.">
  • Sound understanding of aged care regulations and compliance standards.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.">
