**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead project delivery as part of a newly formed team. This role will oversee the construction program on projects up to $20 million and implement mitigating measures to keep the program on track.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews, provide cost forecasts against budgets and use commercial acumen to make financial decisions.
  • Work closely with clients, ensuring risks are mitigated and progress is communicated effectively.
  • Lead and support a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

  • Extensive engineering experience on a broad range of civil projects such as road, earthworks, drainage, land division and infrastructure.
  • The ability to lead and manage smaller scale projects.
  • A sound understanding of the local construction industry and familiarity with contractors, councils and clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • A current South Australian Driver's Licence.
